Gail Siggelakis, M.Ed, is an award-winning author, inspiring speaker, and life-changing coach. She is committed to bringing heart and good energy to all lives she’s privileged to touch.

My Mission

I always wanted to be an author, even during my 38 years as an educator. On my 50th birthday I had an epiphany which inspired me to write, The Affirming Way of Life: See the Good, Speak the Good, Spread the Good.

How could I have not seen before that I had an outstanding trait that truly helped others? From my mother’s example, I realized I always had my eyes focused on what’s positive and good in others and would generously tell them. My gift has enabled me to:

  • Support thousands of others to transform their relationships through my book and talks.

  • Be a deeply life-impacting teacher, helping thousands of students realize their worth and talents.

  • Help my son, who was challenged with ADHD and struggled through the traditional process of education, to be a resilient, confident, and happy, successful adult.

  • Create heart-centered relationships with my husband, my sister, and my closest friends.

Positive relationships with ourselves, those closest to us, and everyone we meet, are key to a successful, happy life. Reading the insights and practical tips in my book and blog posts can help you bring positive energy to all your relationships, too!

Owning my life and talents has been hard work—well worth it! My challenges came from growing up in a home with my bipolar mother. I absorbed her self-doubt, sense of helplessness, and roller-coaster emotions—and I also absorbed my father’s continual desire to learn and better himself. Here’s some key things I’ve overcome and learned that can help me show you how to do it, too:

  • I’ve learned to be open-minded to seek support from books, therapy, and friends.

  • I’ve learned to overcome brutal negative self-talk and develop a compassionate self-supporting inner voice.

  • I’ve learned to develop determination and perseverance going from a non-exerciser to run a half-marathon.

  • I’ve learned how to develop healthy daily rituals including: meditation, stretching, exercise, and controlled eating, from living a life with no routines at all.

  • I’ve learned how to realize major dreams (husband, house, job, vacations, successful life for my son) by reciting and envisioning daily affirmations.

  • I’ve learned how to write and publish an award-winning book to help others create a love-filled life, and in the process overcame self-doubt, developed a writing/research habit, accepted feedback and persisted till I reached my goal!

Gail loves setting goals that get her outdoors in the beauty of nature. She has run all eighteen boardwalks in New Jersey, and her latest project is hiking in every national park in the United States with her husband, Gus. She and her family enjoy trips to Greece to Gus's mountain village, Anavryti.
